The Dart 18 World Championship 2025 ended in spectacular fashion with a final 10th race that had everyone on the edge of their seats. After a thrilling week on the water, it was Vincent and Fanny who emerged as the new Dart 18 World Champions—but only after an all-or-nothing battle on the last day.
Going into the final race, three teams were still in contention: Vincent and Fanny, Dave and Louise (who were leading the standings), and fellow French team Hervé and Mariam. With the pressure mounting and conditions challenging, it was anyone’s game.
The deciding race turned into a tactical nail-biter, with position changes throughout the fleet and no margin for error. But Vincent and Fanny kept their cool, delivering a smart and gutsy performance that saw them cross the line exactly where they needed to be—clinching the world title in style.
It was a spectacular end to a championship week full of fierce competition, sunshine (and a few rain showers), and unforgettable beachside camaraderie.
